Alderheart says Tinycloud's kits will be the first Sk圜lan cats to be born beside the lake.Alderheart tends to Tinycloud and is happy to inform the queen her kits will be born soon.Ivypool approaches Twigpaw, telling her that Bramblestar felt that she was ready for her warrior assessment, but Twigpaw is torn between becoming Sk圜lan or staying in ThunderClan.Twigpaw, Violetpaw, and Hawkwing eat together.Mistystar and her patrol arrives, and she asks her warriors to respect ThunderClan, as they have provided hospitality, before telling Bramblestar that she thinks it's time to go.The RiverClan cats accuse ThunderClan of not letting Mosspelt eat, while Graystripe retorts that Mosspelt was sleeping.An argument breaks out between some of the injured and elderly RiverClan cats and ThunderClan cats.Violetpaw explains that Hawkwing is being checked by Alderheart, worrying Twigpaw, but Leafstar reassures her that she thinks Alderheart loves seeing the reaction of cats when eating disgusting herbs.Ivypool prompts Twigpaw to a waiting Violetpaw, who is staring at the two.Ivypool explains that Dovewing and Tigerheart volunteered very quickly, so she was a bit suspicious.Twigpaw asks why Ivypool didn't want a quest to search for Sk圜lan.Ivypool follows, reassuring her, and telling her that she should not be ashamed for doing such a great thing.Not wanting to hear anymore of it, Twigpaw dashes out.Lionblaze responds that Twigpaw was also a part of the prophecy, as they found her in the shadows.The senior warrior states that Sk圜lan was part of the prophecy, while Cherryfall retorts that one cat brought them there, shooting another glance at Twigpaw.Twigpaw suspects that Cherryfall is accusing her of bringing Sk圜lan to the lake, but before she can say anything, Lionblaze defends her.Cherryfall specifically points out that RiverClan is at least minorly contributing to the prey, glancing at Twigpaw.

Cherryfall, Molewhisker, and Sparkpelt continue complaining about the problems caused with the overcrowded camp, making Twigpaw feel a bit guilty.

Twigpaw recalls ShadowClan having left ThunderClan and Sk圜lan's current residence being with her Clan.

Sparkpelt whines about having all the Clans' cats in their camp.
